Benji – A Therapy Dog Story

Benji, a Labrador therapy dog, has been spreading smiles not just online, but in every visit that he makes. This dog leaves business cards to the people he meets in his journey, creating an uplifting therapy dog story.

Fur dad, Russell Peck, made Benji’s business cards. The front of the business card shows a picture of this adorable dog with his name and a statement that says, “I hope my visit has brightened your day.” On the back part of the card, information about this good boy is written.

At nine years old, the dog has already made more than 600 visits to schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Benji’s been doing this for the past five years. Leaving his cards to people gives them something to remember about him.

Benji himself has struggled with anxiety. After taking obedience class and training as a therapy dog, it turns out that Benji is good at helping other people feel better. He spreads joy wherever he goes.

In the pictures featured, it cannot be denied that Benji has touched so many lives.

Benji Has a Magical Effect on People

In an interview, Benji’s handler said that people have come up to him and said that they had kept Benji’s business cards. This goes to show that Benji truly has a magical effect on people.

Award Winner

Not only that, but numerous awards have been won by Benji, including Therapy Dogs International Gold Award. A picture of him with this award was also featured online.

Benji has a Facebook page called “Benji the Therapy Dog,” which is also indicated in his business card. This is an excellent way for him to still keep in touch with the people he met. Peck posts updates and pictures about Benji on its Facebook page including this therapy dog story.

Honestly, some heroes do not wear capes. Some give out business cards.
