Dogs Fighting due to Jealousy, Attention and Abandonment

Not all siblings get along, just like these two dog brothers. These two bulldogs would fight every single time. Hajji would always be attacking Sando.

This is especially true when Sando cuddles up to their mom or their dad. Hajji would immediately attack his brother. They just don’t get along when their parents are around.

It’s a different scene when their parents are not in the room. The brothers become very sweet with each other. No fight would ensue. When their parents are not around, that’s the only time that the two bulldogs get along.

They snuggle and give each other kisses. That’s how bonded they are during their parent’s absence.

Dogs Fighting Was Worrying and a Solution Had to be Found

When their parents are in the same room, it’s a whole different scene. They would be at each other’s throat. The dogs fighting was a real worry. The parents noticed that Hajji would only react this way when it comes to Sando. Hajji gets jealous when Sando would cozy up to their parents.

Abandonment Caused Possessive Behavior

The family rescued Hajji from his previous owners because he was neglected. Because of his experience, Hajji developed abandonment issues. This resulted in his possessive behavior.

Hajji would fight Sando to get their parent’s affection. Hajji will only act this way when it comes to Sando and not the other dogs because he views Sando as his competition.

When their parents would pet the other dogs, Hajji would not mind. The family consulted a trainer. The trainer informed them that it was all about dominance and authority.

The family was taught techniques and practices to help improve the dog’s relationship. The parents tried it, and it was a success. Sando and Hajji can now live in harmony whether or not their parents are around.

Their parents are sure that from that day forward, the two bulldogs are going to be the best of friends. Their parents are very proud of their progress and are happy to see the changes.
