Animal Aid Unlimited Saves a Courageous Dog

We have heard and read various stories about the dogs that were saved and rescued. Those stories inspired rescuers to voluntarily go to the streets and look for dogs that needed help. This is another story of a significant transformation and recovery of a courageous dog from a deadly skin disease.

There are a lot of animal shelters and sanctuaries around the globe that pour there utmost love for all the animals that they rescue. They put so much effort into saving and rescuing them to give them a brand new chance at life.

Animal Aid Unlimited India Helps Helpless Animals

One sanctuary home based in India is Animal Aid Unlimited. Like any other sanctuary, Animal Aid Unlimited provides aid to the helpless animals in India deprived of love, attention, and care.

The animals they accommodate are mostly abandoned and stray dogs. Being in the streets for some time, and not receiving proper care, love, and medical attention, these animals are prone to a lot of skin diseases. These skin diseases frequently look hideous and smell unpleasant.

Many Dogs Have Mange

Most of the rescued dogs have a condition called Mange, a dreaded skin disease caused by parasitic mites. This causes severe itching, hair loss, scabs, and lesions. There are severe cases of Mange that can cause infection, starvation, and dehydration or even death if left untreated.

Animal Aid Unlimited was able to save another street dog that was severely suffering from skin disease. The video clip below shows the severity of the infection this dog had. The abandoned and sick dog was too pitiful to look at.

Care Leads to Transformation

The rescuers saved him from the streets, but they also kept him from the skin disease that made him unlikeable for some time. They provided medication, bathed him with love and care that made the dog recover.

Indeed, these abandoned dogs only need even just one person to care for them to be able to have the best chance at life. The rescued dog was almost dying from the disease, but because of the care given to him, the dog has transformed beautifully.
