Dog Waits for His Owner
Gratefulness Re-paid with Loyalty
When gratefulness is re-paid with loyalty, a great relationship develops. Balbal was saved from dying by a grandmother.
Since then, Balbal never left the grandmother’s side. Even when the grandmother goes to the city, Balbal wants to make sure that she rides the bus safely. The grandmother does not like Balbal following her because she is worried that he will get hit by a car again.
The grandmother once left Balbal inside the greenhouse, so we won’t be able to follow her. Balbal was so desperate to accompany the grandmother. He tore the greenhouse so he can escape. Balbal was desperate to be with her.
The grandmother was amazed by what Balbal did just so he can accompany her. Balbal’s effort is heartwarming but it still worries the grandmother.
When the grandmother gets on the bus, Balbal will stay at the bus stop and wait for his owner until she comes home. Balbal would remain in the same place for an entire day just to wait for her. A trainer helped the grandmother make Balbal wait for her at home.
The trainer wanted Balbal to feel secured that the grandmother will always come home. The trainer also helped Balbal get used to a leash. Balbal would keep biting it every time he is on one. Resisting would hurt him more than it helps.
The trainer’s strategies helped. Balbal is now a little more comfortable waiting for the grandmother at home. This is very helpful because the grandmother does not have to worry about Balbal’s safety. He can safely wait for her at home.
Loyalty is rare, and the grandmother is very grateful to Balbal for being so loyal to her. There is nothing more important to the grandmother than Balbal safety. All she wants is to come home and see her loyal dog safely waiting for her.
