Our dog friends saved our lives, sacrificed so much and gave us unparalleled joy numerous times that often make us question, “What did we do to deserve such love and loyalty from them?”
The presence of these dogs in our lives truly makes a difference. However, the joy and happiness they bring are so pure and genuine that makes it even scarier. What if we lose them or what if we will be gone and no one is around to take care of them?
Today, let us witness a lighter take on this fear and see how a dog reacts as his owner faked his death. Watch the video below.
Just like the rest of us, the dog owner was curious as to how his dog would react upon seeing him in danger. So, when he faked his death in front of him, he did not expect that he will receive an overwhelming reaction from his cute pup. Although at first, the dog wasn’t sure about what just happened, it eventually realized that her owner needs some help. So, Penny tried to wake her owner up.
A lot of us would agree that it is so hard to witness our dog struggle to keep us away from danger. In the video, it is very evident how relieved the dog was when she realized that her owner is okay the moment he stood up and hugged her.
Our thoughts
This video shows how dogs genuinely care for their owners. It is also strong evidence that dogs understand the human world and the humans’ actions. They know when humans are in danger and when they need to do something to keep them away from danger.
Dogs’ responses during emergencies are impressive. They have a sense of urgency, which allows them to act instantly and to think clearly at the same time. The story presented here is only one of the many instances which shows that dogs are capable of saving their owners’ lives. With this, we can confidently say that dogs are capable of being more than just home buddies and home guards. They take care of their humans and they will do everything to keep them safe.
