Rebecca Amey had a brother who was terrified of big dogs. He never wanted to go near them until he met Zeus the Pitbull.
Meeting Zeus
David, Rebecca’s brother, was never a big fan of animals. He hated anything related to dogs and didn’t want to be anywhere near them
Rebecca always had a soft spot for dogs and wanted to adopt one for so long. She pressured her husband into coming with her to the local shelter and check out the rescue dogs.
When they got there, an eighty-pound Pitbull caught their attention. He looked a bit intimidating, but he was very calm and adorable. Rebecca loved the Pitbull, so she adopted him and named him Zeus.
On the ride home, Rebecca never imagined a huge Pitbull as her dream dog, but she had no regrets. Zeus fits perfectly into her family, and she couldn’t wait for the dog to meet her brother.
Facing fears
When David first met Zeus, the dog was very calm and gave him a lot of kisses. Seeing as the dog meant no harm, David was able to relax a little and even attempted to pet the dog.
Rebecca knew that her brother was still nervous around the Pitbull, so she decided to make the two of them bond more. David became more comfortable around Zeus because he wasn’t a very active dog that loved sleeping all day.
The house that they lived in wasn’t massive, so Rebecca wanted to make a few adjustments. They bought a house with a big yard so that Zeus would be outside more often. The dog still preferred visiting David whenever he could.
Whenever the Pittie came to David’s house, he’s very polite, especially when it came to treats. David and Zeus loved to relax together and go on short walks around their community.
Some of Rebecca’s family members were a bit skeptical about having the Pitbull in their house, but Zeus proved to be different. It all depended on how they are raised and trained. Everybody accepted Zeus and were happy to have him.
