Rescued Street Dog is Unrecognizable Now
Not everyone is going to take a chance on a stray dog, especially when that dog doesn’t look appealing. The dog’s name is Hercules, and he looked terrible. He was hairless, very skinny, and was on the brink of death.

Pia was visiting a friend, and they told her about a stray dog that they’ve seen around the area. They have tried to catch him multiple times, but they were unsuccessful.

Pia tried to rescue the dog herself, and she was looking for the canine. Pia found him lying on the front porch of a house. She carried him herself and brought him to the vet.
It was very emotional for Pia because she could not believe that no one was trying to help the dog. No one tried to help the canine even when it was the Christmas season.
It was December twenty-third when she brought the dog to the vet. Unfortunately, since it was the holidays, she was advised to bring the dog home. Pia was advised to come back on December twenty-six.

Pia dropped everything and was very determined to help Hercules. It was tough, especially the first few days when Hercules lost two pounds in two days. Hercules refused to eat anything.
Pia made sure to refill his bowl every three hours so she could keep him hydrated. One cannot imagine how he has survived, but it shows that he wants to stay alive.
Pia fought with him. December twenty-six came, and Hercules was brought to the vet. He was given the necessary treatment and medication.
Everything takes time, and Hercules was no different. He was unable to walk because he was so skinny. There was not enough strength on his muscles, so he had to relearn how to walk. When Hercules finally did, he was unstoppable.
His progress grew from there. From walking to running. From being hairless to his fur growing and growing rapidly.
Hercules looked like a different dog, and he looked amazing. Pia cannot bring herself to give Hercules up because of everything they went through. Instead, she adopted him. Hercules is fortunate that he has already found his perfect mom.
